Yes. SmartFilm uses a low-voltage power system with a controller and requires a suitable electrical connection. We plan wiring routes to keep the finished installation neat and coordinate qualified electrical work where required.
In the clear state, SmartFilm allows visibility through the glass, though it is not identical to bare glass. In its private, frosted state, it obscures detailed views in both directions while allowing light through.
Frosted privacy film obscures detailed views day and night. Switchable SmartFilm provides a frosted privacy state when switched appropriately. Solar or reflective films alone may not provide nighttime privacy when indoor lights are on.
